This book is based on true story that happened in University of Indonesia. One of my favorite books that have inspired me. "At least 1.5 months later, all
of you must have to go abroad! All of you can go to any countries. One
country for 1 person. Don't ask your parents for help. Go by yourself!" The Professor said in the 1st day of International Marketing course class
For them who never go abroad, this task is quite challenging. This lecture method initially opposed by parents and fellow lectures. This task put all his students in difficult situations. The goal of this task is the professor want they are getting lost alone in the country that they never visit before. Get lost alone in foreign places can grow the mental of self driving, freedom, independent and responsible to decide what kind of direction for their own life.
Live sparingly, being laughed at by stranger and considered as weird are one of many experience were felt by all his students. All of students wrote their experiences when they finished the task to travel alone. All those experience written on this books. The professor taught the students not only from the books but from real experiences, and at the end of the day, the pressure and difficulties from this lecture method has built strong people in real life.
